Dunmore East is a small fishing village on the south-east coast of Ireland, 16kms from the city of Waterford. It sits on the western side of the Waterford Harbour Estuary, 4.8kms from Hook Head in Wexford.

Pat Kelly was fostered by Martin O'Connor from Dunmore . He was known as Patrick Kelly O'Connor and he spent

much time in Dunmore , though he lived in Waterford .

Patrick is very talented musically and was writing songs when he was about five years old. He went to Germany

when he was about eighteen to take up temporary employment and soon found himself involved in the music scene.

He got on so well that he stayed and went full time into music where he is known as Pat Kelly Singer/Songwriter.

After a few years he moved to the Netherlands and a few years later to Belgium where he now lives.

He plays all over Germany , Holland , Belgium and Denmark . He did a six month residency in Greece and does a

six week stint in New York every year.

He comes to Ireland every year for a vacation and spends some time in Dunmore.
